Thank you, St. Jeanne de Lestonnac School!

The book signing event at St. Jeanne’s book fair last Friday went very well! We sold 20 or so books in about an hour. Even though the school didn’t request it, I decided to donate 25% of the sales back to the school. I had the pleasure of meeting many new students and families at the school in addition to many old friends. Principal Kristin Mora (who makes a special appearance in ZIA) and school president Sister Ernestine stopped by to say hello as well. My thanks also go out to librarian Sue Fitzgerald for her generous support. Thank you!

I’ve received a few requests from teachers and parents to do similar book signings and author visits at their school. Just let me know and I’d be happy to speak to your class or school as time permits. book signing 2

Book signing today at St. Jeanne de Lestonnac School

I’ll be doing a book signing of The Zoo of Impossible Animals at St. Jeanne de Lestonnac School today from 3 PM to 4:30 PM at the school’s book fair. If you’re in the area, please stop by and say hi. Thank you again to Principal Kristin Mora, Sr. Ernestine, librarian extraordinaire Sue Fitzgerald, and Vonny Bogan for helping make this mini-event a reality! If you can’t make the signing, you can always purchase your copy on here or on from Amazon.

Hamlet photo essay in My Valley News

This piece was published yesterday in our local weekly My Valley News. A very interesting photo essay about the production and Shakespeare in the Vines. I hope everyone gets a chance to see one of the last two performances tonight and tomorrow!
